A nutrient management plan is simply a way of ordering information about the efficiency of water and nutrient applications to the plants in your growing operation. The reason for having a nutrient management plan is to demonstrate that you are efficient, and that your operation poses a low risk for nutrients running off into nearby streams and rivers.

The documents on this webpage contain complete information about water and nutrient management plan requirements for container nursery, pot-in-pot and greenhouse operations. You can also download a sample plan, which you can used as template for your operation.
