Welcome to the Homepage for the Nursery and Greenhouse Nutrient Management Program.

Here you will find complete information about the nutrient management law and regulations in Maryland, and how you can go about writing a nutrient management plan for your operation. Since many operations require applications of irrigation water, and since water is the easiest way nutrients are carried in runoff, these plans also include a water component.

We have links to many resources that you may like to consult, including and explanation of the concepts involved in writing these plans, together with other resources such as links to our Extension Training Programs, relevant Publications and other informational websites.

Please do not hesistate to email or call us if you require any further information.
